The Lord Valley Museum

The Vall de Lord Museum – Interpretation Center offers an interesting complement to a visit to the valley. Located in the old monastery of Sant Llorenç de Morunys, it can be accessed through the cloister of the church.

In the Museum you can take a tour of the entire history of the valley, from its geological formation to the 20th century. The rooms dedicated to plaster with the traditional molded plaster ceilings, the woolen textile with the piteu cloth, the medieval and modern age, the baroque with the altar of the Colls and the 19th century, where the different episodes of war that were experienced in the area such as the military training camp of Busa, the burning of the village of Sant Llorenç or the Carlists established in the sanctuary of Lord.

Saturday: from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday and public holidays: from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m
