Watchtower of the ancient wall of Sant Llorenç

Sant Llorenç de Morunys preserves its walled enclosure, catalogued as BCIN and which partially preserves part of the wall and the five access portals to the nucleus: the Portal de la Canal, the Portal de la Capella, the portal de l’Era Nova, the portal de l’Estudi and the portalet del Puit.

The walls are of medieval military construction which had attached different rectangular towers of which only one is preserved at the Canal portal.
