NECROPOLIS OF CEURÓ
This necropolis is located very close to the Church of Sant Julià de Ceuró, three cists from the Middle Neolithic are preserved in the necropolis. It was excavated in 1992 by the team of the archaeologist Ramon Cardona.
Among the found materials, there are different pieces of flint, one knife, a bone punch for the hair and a necklace made of calaite or variscite from the Neolithic mines of Gavà. This fact shows commercial exchanges between the coast and inland through waterways.
The objects are exhibited at Museu Diocesà and Comarcal of Solsona.
