Mare de la Font i font de la Mina

We leave Solsona along the Bassella road and at km 2 on the right, we find Mare de la Font park, called Mirabella in the past. The water from this fountain was the first to be taken into Solsona’s main fountain. We must mention the old bridge from the 15th century which in the past was part of the water canal system to take water to Solsona’s fountains.

When we get to the centre of the Mare de la Font park, following a little path going through a tunnel under the Bassella road, we reach Font de la Mina which is a beautiful spot, very nice and cool in the summer (see walking route).
