Miralles Castle and Serrat dels Moros site

The remains of Miralles Castle are located in Serrat dels Moros, a 709-meter mountain in the municipality of Pinell de Solsonès. The first written documents mentioning the so-called Miralles Castle date back to the 10th and 11th centuries. The medieval structures of this castle are preserved around a complex consisting of a castle, a fortified town and a necropolis.

Right where the remains of this castle are located, there is also the Iberian settlement of Serrat dels Moros, which stands out for having had different layers of settlement and uses from the late Bronze Age – early Iron Age to the Iberian, Roman and medieval periods.
