Font Salada

We go to Cambrils (via LV-4241 passing Coll de Jou or the Cirera road via Montpol). In Cambrils we will find the salt works (salines) signposted. This is the source of a fountain whose water is completely salty, so much so that it is used to preserve mushrooms without any additives. This fountain gives the name to the river, Ribera Salada. This fountain provided the water for the old salt works that used to exist in Cambrils (see Cambrils salt works).
